CONFIRMATION 

The Sacrament of Confirmation is the Sacrament in the Catholic Church by which “the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit. Hence they are, as true witnesses of Christ, more strictly obliged to spread and defend the faith by word and deed”(CCC 1285).

In order to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation worthily, you must be in a state of grace and know well the chief truths of our religion. Though every Sacrament is a gift from God, we must do our part to receive it in the proper disposition.

Chosen: Your Journey Toward Confirmation will be used by the 7th Grade students this year. They will finish Lessons 1-12 of 24 this year to complete their first year of our two-year program. Next year they will finish Lessons 13-24 of 24 to complete the two-year program. Classes for 7th Grade will be held twice a month on the first Saturday at 3 pm and the third Sunday at 10:30 am of each month. The 8th Grade Confirmation Class will also meet twice a month on the first Saturday at 3pm an the third Sunday at 10:30 am of each month.

Sacrament of Confirmation:   Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 5:30pm

Confirmation Retreat: Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 8:00am-12:00pm in the church.  The retreat will consist of Holy Mass, a talk, light refreshments, a rehearsal, and a Holy Hour.

The Confirmation Sponsor Form must be filled out by the Church where your sponsor currently attends.
